Just wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes and support.
Dunno when I'll be back on here, but may have to change my name to Bionic Beex.
Take care and talk later ;)

Beex - Back Op Update

Postby beex on Wed Nov 12, 2008 6:16 am

Just had my 2 week post op checkup and everything is perfect :)
Started Physio yesterday also (6 month program!)
Still have to take strong painkillers for the wound pain but I'm heaps better. It's very early days but it's very encouraging. I finally feel like I'm getting my life back and my 6 year old daughter is getting her Dad back.
I asked my surgeon if I can go down the Pig to meet Paul and Kaye and he said no probs. So I'll poke my head in.
Just don't pat me on the stomach, they went in from the front and I look like I've been stabbed (12cm vertical wound at my belly button) and I now have the dressing removed so it can heal. But I'll be able to manage an hour or so.
Cya there!
beex ;-)

Looking forward to meeting you guys.
Also I've only been to the Pig once since the Liverpool Cup final.
Last season, Unkle Dave picked me up in his car and took me down to watch us get thrashed by Man Yoo.
Dave organised a seat up the front for me and everything (he's a love!) and Risky looked after me also.
I can't wait, meeting up with youse and going out....who hoo! :-)
Shame I can't get bladdered but that's something to look forward too, hey ;-)
