MVFC supporter and there are tons of hammer shirts there.I haven't got the time to run a group personally but a informal pissup or games would be qualuity..qld looks well organised.

I am one of those with a Hammers shirt at Victory games.

I like you am too busy to arrange things, but happy to wing it and get together somewhere occasionally for a drink and a game.

I'm another relative newcomer to the forum who is based in Melbourne. It sounds like there are plenty of us down here. I agree with others - it would be great to have a venue to watch a few matches.

Failing that it sounds like I'll have to relocate to Brisbane and drink XXXX with Dave and co!

it tastes like crap. and i play football not far from the brewery so we have to smell it. ugh.

Melborune, one of you guys should just say im gonna be HERE at X pm to watch a game, here being somewhere in the city you know will be open/showing it. A few might join you, even better there might already be someone there. Got nothing to lose (Cept cash for drinks etc  )

Chris makes a good point AB that was how we attempted to get it started here in Adelaide.

Yep, that sounds like a sensible plan. I'm not really sure where to suggest as a venue (I haven't been here that long) but if another Melbourne person has any ideas I'm all ears!

Rang the celtic club this morning and asked the lady if we brought down a few guys are they willing to show the spurs/hammers match,
she said she doesnt really know, but it is possible for them to show it being a sunday morning.
she also told me to send an email to the manager to confirm it. she asked me whether i was a member of the supporters group
and i said no, but i am on an online forum with a few guys willing to regularly meet up to watch the matches.
i said bout 20 guys (wishful thinking) to start off and that we were wanting to build from there.
ill send an email soonish and hopefully get a swift reply so we can start organising a time.
she also said that the supporters group hasnt been there in a long time,so there is an opportunity for us to start up something solid.

Got a reply to my email i sent yesterday and it looks like the manager down there doesnt have a
problem with us heading in there to watch the matches. All she said was that it depends on who is playing,
whether they will show our match or not e.g liverpool v arsenal we wont get a look in. I will call her again within the next couple of days
to find out whether they will show the villa match in bout a month, so if anyone is interested, raise your hands.
She also said that if we ever want to organise a special event, say a tuesday morning, they will open but there will be a cover charge of $5 pp.
So is everyone in agreence that this place would be suitable? my only gripe is that seeings how we arent the biggest club and even if we had 50 guys there
we still arent gonna see our match if there is 5 gooners there.
