Either way, I'm hoping for bad things against Bellamy.
I don't reckon he makes many friends wherever he plays so time for some payback tackles (listen up Lucas and Scotty)
Lets put this little shite out for the rest of the season.

Honestly guys, what gives?
1 shithouse performance against Boro & everyones head drops.
If we keep creating the chances, then we must eventually score. Unfortunately for our posse of frontmen, those opprtunities need to be tap ins a 4 yo could convert at the moment.
Generally the footballs been fluent & positive. All the reports from the Bolton game shows some ridiculously one sided affair except on the scoreboard.
Heads up lads. COYI's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You fucken' ripper.
Got home from work to watch the last 15 minutes. Nearly shit myself about 5 times during that time.
Held on though - sensational. Not far to 40 points & beyond!!

Great Match, loved it. Ridiculously close game and i think we deserved the 3 points. Kovac had a good match in my opinion and i like how hes now the defensive mid, which allows parker to get forward more. Cole had a good game despite not having....any shots that i recall, but he held the ball up and one some headers, not to mention continued the play that led to the goal.

We diced with death once or twice but i think we held them off sufficiently. Fox showed some stats at the end showing we had 9 shots on target to their 3.

Also would I be wrong in saying that Collison is the best winger we've brought through our ranks since Joe Cole? I'm loving this kid almost everything he does turns to gold.

On top of that, Spurs lost the Cup Final. Fucking Brilliant Night :D also increases our chances of making it to Europe, we're up to 7th.

Words from the wise. Top man Bog.

I was not confident after watching us lose poorly to Boro and doubted we could turn it around but we did. Nice win at home. Glad my text to Zola got through asking him to give Dave a win whilst at the Boleyn. ;)

Great game.

Parker is playing some brilliant football at the moment. Inspirational stuff. Should be our skipper IMO.

Also liked Kovacs as trhe defensive mid to free up Scotty.

What about DDM. Played a great game, me thinks he's turned a corner!! Linked up well with Cole and the midfield. Took some corners as well that were more dangerous than they've ever been. Well done lads. Shame about Behrami's injury. Hope he gets well soon. Bring on Wigan!!!!! COY IRONS!!

Great performance all round. How I would have rated it.

Green 8 Couple of superb stops and positioning.
Neill 8 Excellent performance. Some crucial deflections and let nothing down the left.
Ilunga 7 Only time got beat was by Bellamy in the corner which was dangerous but otherwise superb.
Upson 6 Lost ball and didn't move up fast enough for Robinho's great chance. Also missed their other striker for 1 on 1 with green,
Tomkins 7 Good all round display. Some crucial headers.
Kovac 8 Great game and good well make def mid his spot.
Parker 8 Another great game after early booking. Will be more attacking with Kovac in side.
Collison 8 Good goal and overall chased everything down. They played with no width and he helped.
Behrami 7 Was having pretty good game until injured. Got skinned once.
DDM 8 Great attacking game and some touches. Will keep Sears out on that performance.
Cole 7 Held up ball realyy well and his trickery and control excellent. Felt could have shot earlier couple of times. Carried on gamely when injured for last 15.
Savio 7 Played well when came on and created goal. Speed an asset but mustn't lose concentration as when Kovac blasted him.
Spector and Lopez did job when cam on in last 10.

Green 7 - One superb stop and positioning let him down the once when Lucas had to header around the post late on.
Neill 8 - Excellent performance. Kept £20m Robhino in his pocket for the whole match.
Ilunga 7 - Still improving and possible HotY for me.
Upson 6 - Not a good day today but kept a clean sheet.
Tomkins 7 - Good all round display.
Kovac 8 - Great game compared to BORO in midweek, defo a good signing but needs to adapt.
Parker 9 - Another great game after early booking.
Collison 9 - Good goal and overall chased everything down.
Behrami 7 - Endless running throughout midfield.
DDM 7 - Kept the Citeh defence stretched all game.
Cole 8 - Held up ball really well and his trickery and control excellent. Felt could have shot earlier couple of times. Carried on gamely when injured for last 15 and cleared 2 corners in extra time.
Savio 8 - Played well when came on and created goal. The difference between a 0-0 and a WIN!

Spector and Lopez did job when cam on in last 10.

Met up with DAVE in the Duke an hour before the game and had a good chat and a beer, I know I am off to Venice for 3 days with work but I would of preferred an away trip to Wigan on Wednesday night....Still, looks like I have bagged a ticket for Blackburn away on the 28th.

Have a great stay in the UK and France Dave and a safe trip back. Mrs Tricky was gutted when I got home but the girl came 1st in the Cheerleading so we were all winners yesterday. Looking forward to getting out in 2009.

Be Lucky

Get in there!! Tottscum lost as well so what a day. I'm thinking of predicting a defeat every week because we are sure to get into Europe then!! I just hope Behrami will be okay. It's also good to see Kovac play well.

Some Photos from the day...

These were all taken from the point n shoot - couldn't be arsed to carry the good one round with me - I might take it to Wigan though. :)

Great game - City have spent about 100m and are still not much of a team. Was very impressed with Collison and Savio plus Cole did a lot of hard work despite not much coming off for him.
