Wish i had tv access, maybe next season!! Sounded a tuff game on the radio. I'd like to see the tackles that caused so much controversy perhaps any of you chaps can give me a heads up. Scotty Parker sounded like he had an awesome game again. He's my vote Hammer of the year at mo, even tho' Cole's had a good season so far (never thought i'd be saying that).

Coles Red was ridiculous. He also scored one of the best goals i've ever seen West Ham score (in terms of play).

The Referee is an absolute idiot, some of the calls he gave were astounding, whilst others were blatant and weren't (this goes both ways). Until Coles sending off it had been Brilliant end to end stuff with West Ham probably jsut on top. Then Cole got sent off and i thought we were doomed. Luckily Cattermole got sent off which evened it out abit.

Hows bad luck for our right midfielders. Collison does the same thing to his knee that Behrami did only 3 days ago. I think we may suffer a little now. All i n all im glad we got the 3 points and i'd say we deserved them

Should also Mention i thought Parker and Neill were both gonna get sent off at one point. None the less both Parker and Kovac had very very good games, im liking the possibilty of this pairing. we're running out of wingers though so i imagine we'll be seeing more of Noble on the left and right.

Now its a hard climb up the ladder, the next two games will be very important to shrink the gap in points to move up a position.

The team is doing great and at the moment very happy with the preformance however as we all know things can turn shit very quickly.

Cole seems to be showing his worth lately if he continues like this i will have to take back some of the nasty things I have said in the past.

Good win, maybe Dave should stay up there, he seems to be good luck. I'm very worried about Collison, hope its not too serious.

Zola said after the game (on the BBC ) that Jack's injury may not be too serious, so hopefully both his and Behrami's won't be season ending injuries.
This ref shouldn't be allowed near a game again. He was totally incompetant and turned a tough but fair opening game into a dirty one.
I am not a violent man but I was absolutely fucking incensed by this cunt all night, he lost control and the game suffered for it.
Still, a vital win at a tough place.
Parker is playing like Bonzo at the moment. In yer face the whole game, nerves of steel, great tackling, plus we're finally seeing him freed up by the emerging presence of Kovac.
This is the West Ham I grew up on. Slick passing and tough bastards in the middle and the back and a world class keeper.
Good times :)

Yeh i second that, i think the fans at the game sence it aswell. It makes for a great atmosphere, the "We never give up attitude" Long may it continue.

When you consider the surface they were playing on the way they controlled the football on the ground was top class. Spector should slot straight in to the right midfield. Agree about Kovac and Parker that looks rock solid. Savio looks a beauty, cant wait to see the best of him in the future. The travelling fans were in top voice.

My ratings

Green 8 Another solid game. Good saves from free kicks.
Neill 7 Another solid display. Lucky not to get sent.
Upson 8 Much better as part of solid back 4.
Tomkins 8 Did well again.
Ilunga 8 No trouble down the flank and went forward when required.
Noble 6 Worries me with his defence. One time saw man behind him and still lost it.
Kovac 7 Lost it a few times but always tracks back and looks like his possie to lose.
Parker 8 Immense again.
Collison 8 Good game until did knee on the turf.
DDM 8 Our creative force and full of running once Cole off.
Cole 7 Great goal and unlucky with cards.
Savio 7 Did job but needs to not get muscled out so much.
Spector 7 Did his job in not his favourite possie.
Lopez 7 Didn't see much but almost in on goal at the death.
