I reckon Noble should join him as a bench warmer also. Great commitment but again gives the ball away too much.
With Behrami coming back also, I reckon they're both 2nd choicers when our crocks are fit and hopefully we sign not just another workhorse midfielder but someone who can unlock defences and create more chances for our attackers.

As I said Kocav is ok but he gives the ball away too often and as for time he shouldn't need any really seeing as he's got experience to burn. I have to disagree with you Beex......Noble has been our best box to box midfielders this season, always putting in 100% for the shirt and if he does have a mare it's not for the want of trying.

Next seasons midfield with the squad we have now should be:

Behrami (LM) Parker (CDM) Noble (CFM) Collison (RM)

Not knocking his commitment Trick, he'd die for us, I know that but an awful lot of attacking moves broke down this season because of a Nobes bad pass. I know you could point the finger at a lot of our players for that but he still doesn't look the finished article to me. Doesn't look as composed on the ball as the players you've mentioned either. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Nobes, he's got the engine for sure, and can tackle, I'm just not sure what else he brings to the side?
We desperately need a creative midfielder.

Kovac, Parker, Behrami & Noble on their day can do the role but none of them do it consistantly....

It's a tough one cos Savio has shown glimpses when in a free role and a fit Dyer could do the job.
I'm thinking a Yossi type.
