Hey guys, I across this site via the official WHU site looking to see what kind of organized US fans their were, but when I saw the Australian contingent it got me thinking about something.

I have been looking into getting a Blue Heeler, and was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a proper Australian name for him/her. Either a city name, a funny bit of slang or something along those lines. When I was young we had several Yellow Mouth Curs named "Wooga" so it wouldn't be too far of a leap to go for Wagga. And not because I give a squirt of piss about Mark Read, but laugh my ass off at the Ronnie John's impression of him so I was also thinking about "Chopper"

What do you guys suggest?

Bundy (local rum), Digger ( Oz soldier), Aussie (obviously)), max (mad max).... Loyal as fuck, but can be a right spiteful dog. Can be buggers with kids. You've been warned.

I don't have any kids, and Lord willing I won't have any for quite awhile so that shouldn't be a problem.

I have to scratch off Bundy though, as there was an infamous serial killer named Ted Bundy.

Digger on the other hand isn't half bad. It is rather unfortunate that the Aussies don't get the credit they deserve (at least here) for fighting valiantly alongside the U.S. on several occasions.

I used to work with a Korean war veteran who said once "If we ever came across them little brown buggers, we'd shoot 'em. And if we couldn't shoot 'em, we'd blow 'em up with artillery. And if we couldn't blow 'em up, why that's when we'd send in the Australians. They'd take care of them buddy, and I mean right now."

Thanks for the suggestions fellas.

We have a Jack Russel called Digger Jack, or DJ for short... We thought Digger sounded odd on its own, so we added Jack to it (as we have friends with a Jack Russel called Russel, so Jack seemed like the obvious choice :D )
