With only 3 games left, I was interested who you guys and gals think will win Hammer of the Year.

A strong field of contenders this year with our good form in the league, but with injuries striking late throws a bit of a spammer in the works and could mix things up a bit.

For me, Parker i think deserves the title. He was absolutely brilliant for the majority of the season and is our workhorse in midfield. I think Matty Upson will snag runner-up. Been solid as a rock in defence and has earned his England call-up. I will throw in Illunga for 3rd spot. Arguably been our most consistent player on the park all season.

Signing of the Year will be between Illunga and Behrami. Could go either way, but i think Behrami's injury will swing it in Illunga's direction. Young hammer of the Year will probably go to Collison. Been the most stable, consistent of the juniors for me.

Agree about Collison bu would have said Illunga to take out first place and Upson (again) Second. I think Cole has easily been the most improved and Illunga best signing

UPSON
Illunga
Neill
Parker
Behrami

In that order. Due to games played also fitness and form.

Good question.

A really tough question to answer tbh.

For me it would be a split between Cole and Parker. Both have been immense for us this season and I've no doubt we'd be 4 to 6 pts better off had they'd been playing in recent weeks. But if I had to choose I'd go Cole. Also honourable mentions for Neill and Green, both have to be in the mix, great players.

I think it will be Upson with Cole runner up.

Cole and Ilunga have performed above expectations, but I would give it to Upson (consistency and reliability) just ahead of Parker. I reckon Rob Green is worthy of an honourable mention too.

Parker probably. Upson has been a rock but there's a distinct difference in quality of our side with Parker injured right now.

Collison & Illunga deserve a mention. Jack has been a revelation and will make a major difference to us in our final 3 games now he is available again.

Upson for me (hate to think of some of the results that we could have suffered without him),Parker and Illunga tie for 2nd Spot.

Gotta go with Collison as best Youngster.

Interesting to see LBM voted the 2nd best 'Most Improved Player', and then voted 3rd 'Worst Player'. Is he the 2nd most improved player because he went from 'Worst Player' last season to only 3rd worst this year?
