What happens when a Billiionaire buys a football club in the countries 6th largest city and declares to everyone that they will go top? When they carry on like rich pricks flying around in a private jet? When they forget that money cant buy peoples loyalty and support? When the coach is too arrogant to turn up to the first games press conference because of his own personal agenda? When they don't embrace grass roots junior and senior local leagues?

You get the soulless rabble that is now Gold Coast United. 2600 supporters to a state derby against Nth Qld with a 2 nil loss to a club that has done everything right in first gaining local respect, pride and support. Shame on Clive Palmer and his band of yes men for destroying a perfectly good opprtunity of providing the Gold Coast with a club that we could all embrace.

I hope its not too late to turn this around.

If this is a team that you support David then I hope they turn it around for you and give you some better times ahead. :-)

Nothing against the Gold Coast, Everything against Palmer. What a fucking wanker. Personally hope 5001 people show up so he keeps losing money. Such a cunt.

Guys

Let's face it. If we want the A League to succeed and develop we need all clubs to be successful on the pitch and financially viable off it.

Whilst Palmer is a cunt, he has at least put his money up to get things going up there. He needs people around him who know what they are doing, not that knucklehead Bleiberg.

Being a Victory member since day 1, I can tell you it is a worry when we now get 20,000 to fixtures which used to push up towards 27000. It is a trend in the game overall, not just Gold Coast.

A win for fans as ticket prices fall

Great result for United fans with reduced ticket prices from this week SUPPORTING Gold Coast United at Skilled Park will be more affordable from this week thanks to today’s announcement of a major overhaul of ticket prices.

A new discounted rate for the remainder of regular season home games means category 3 adult tickets will be available from just $19, concession tickets from $12 and family tickets from a bargain price of $40.

In a special promotion for this Saturday’s clash with competition front-runners Sydney FC, supporters under 15 years of age will be allowed in for free, if accompanied by one paying adult.

We're out this Saturday night or I'd be there in a heartbeat. A few of the family and friends are going, so hopefully others will turn up?

Im supposed to be going, reduced ticket price just saved me. Don't have that much cash on me these days so this is very much a win. Though Palmer is still a cunt.
