I like Rio but it just seems to me that they are taking the captaincy away from a bloke who cheated on his mrs but didn't break the law, and then given the captaincy to someone who has been banned from driving, banned for the drug test non appearance, and is now suspended anyway. Ok the current suspension doesn't really come into it but he has had more controversies than Terry had and he's broken the law. It just seems a hypocritical decision. As I say I really like Rio and I hate Terry but I think that if they are gonna strip Terry for what he's done then they should be giving it to someone who hasn't done bad stuff. Would it have made a difference if it wasn't a fellow players mrs? Because our captain at the last world cup cheated on his mrs too, thinking about it.

It's about the respect from other players in the squad. Rio has made past mistakes but Terry has currently divided the loyalties of the whole squad.
