Erm so Bowyer hasn't performed? He pretty much won the derby away game on his own. Also inspired the middlesboro home win. He's played about 8 games and scored 4 goals.
Freddie has really started to perform but yet again injuries have curtailed his season. Gabbs has been injured all year, Ethers has all but been injured the only 2 I can critisise from your list are LBM & Camara!!

So lower than three 4-0 defeats in a row?
I agree about the curbs thing to an extent but you've said every other team has beaten Derby by 5 or 6 - do you not remember we've already done that to them once this season??? not many teams have done it twice to them. And to be honest I expect us to do away with them this week too.

Tis true, you got me on the facts there Dave but I worry more about these games than any other. It's the shame factor I think. I think we'll win 1-0 but it'll be a desperate display. Hope I'm wrong.

Only Tottenham, Pool, Chelsea, Arse, Villa and us have beaten Derby by 4 or more. And only the Villa and us did it to them away. I'd take a win at this stage by however many. Don't think it will matter much at the end of the season though what happens in this game.

My 10 yo could have won the Derby game and only one other inspiring performance in 8 games. Four goals, one matchwinning performance and one inspirational performance from one of the most experienced players in our squad earning probably 80,000 quid.
Let me put it another way. 2 games of note out of 8 played. 25% return. What the fuck did he do in the other 6 games?
Freddie: Getting paid more than he was at the Arse to do half as much. Not a shadow of what he used to be. Once again, for the times he was on the pitch I remember more bad/average games than good ones for someone being paid that much.
Gabbs: You're right. Probably a bit harsh.
Ethers: Whilst injured, was rarely sighted when he was on the park. Too soft. Sorry lads, time for him to go.
LBM: Thanks for the memories. Leave your keys on the table on the way out.
Camara: Is he on our list?
And last but not least,
Curbishley: The "let's do fuck all until the 70th minute substitution even though we are getting outplayed" tactic is an absolute winner - at Charlton.
Take it with you and go back where you came from. Take LBM, Quashie and Camara with you and start the "i can survive in the EPL for 100 years and never win anything football club". Plenty of others with no ambition will join. Birmingham, Wigan, Borough, Reading, Charlton, Fulham, Bolton, the list goes on. Maybe if they all amalgamate, there will be no more mid-table.
Shit, then what will Curbs do?
Sorry lads, have had a shit day at work so decided to get on and take it out on Curbs.

WHAM 0-2 Man City
At 4.45 on this day would you have pulled Curbs arm off for a safe 10th place and no threat of relegation with a depleated squad?
I know I would of.....
Lets see what 08/09 brings with a fit team. (If he can get one!).

I've said it before:
The second half of last season was exciting. Even if we ended up going down on the last day of the season, it was a roller coaster ride of emotions - especially passion.
I've been bored shitless for the last 6 weeks and will be for the next 4.
Mid table mediocrity is no fun.

It may have been exciting and generally our seasons are. But I would rather have this semi-boring end to the season than be relegated in exciting fashion.
Next season we will be in the PL and its back to excitement plus. Relegation would bring more angst and loss of players, money and interest. No thanks.
