West Ham United
Latest News:
West Ham look set to land Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano for £4 million.
The club have also joined the race to sign Manchester City's Richard Dunne, who is believed to be unhappy after recent club politics surrounding Sven-Goran Eriksson. Alan Curbishley has been told that he must free up some squad space before he makes any moves to bring new players in. The club are likely to part company with Freddie Ljungberg who has endured an injury-marred campaign in East London though the move will cost West Ham some £3 million, while Curbishley is hoping to sign Reading defender Nicky Shorey.
Alan Curbishley is set to bid £3.5m for Wolves winger Michael Kightley.
The manager is also confident that his goalkeeper Robert Green will stay at the club after reported interest from Spurs. West Ham are also showing interest in £5m-rated midfielder Gary O'Neil, who has been at Middlesbrough for just 10 months.
West Ham are said to be scouting Barnet's 20-year-old midfielder Albert Adomah, although Barnet have so far refused numerous offers from various Championship clubs.
This is what the Telegraph are saying, please not Bresciano.

I think you missed his point - he wasn't having a dig at Bresciano - he was having a dig at the Australian football team.

Dav,
I love Aussies so much I'm married to one.
See Dave's answer.
Sorry if I offended

I would have thought this was having a go at Bresciano. I meant does Beexie not like any Aussie footballers, not Aussies in general. Didn't think you'd be here if that was the case.

Ok, I'll specifically answer the question.
I don't rate Bresciano and in my opinion Neill has had a shite season compared to the season before.
I have nothing against Aussie footballers at all.

Not sure. Would take for 2-3 and depends on wages. But also not sure he is the attacking midfielder we want. Better than none though. Maybe better than Ethers and LBM on the left too but not sure better than LBM.
Would prefer to spend more on someone like Deco but don't see that happening.
