I reckon you should ban Davros, he's obviously anti-english and quite frankly trouble. ;)

Davros & I are just coming from different perspectives that's all. We like football and West Ham for different reasons and our priorities for the game are chalk and cheese. Neither perspective is wrong.

Beggers - Before you say you're only joking I know the winky thing at the end gives it away. :)

Just to weigh into this arguement a bit im not in favour of 6-5,but i can definately see where Dave is coming from so i believe that the way around this is that the ruling should be that no team may have more than 3 foreigners on the FIELD at any one time.

To my way of thinking this gives the English talent a go, squares up the league but teams still get the chance to have that foreign flair.

Just a thought. :)

That's funny. At the Caxton on Sunday, I'm sure you said that my input to this forum was the best thing to have entered this love-in. ;)

You shouldn't spout off saying it if you don't believe it. Unless stirring of course.

That would be worse imo as would need 160 good English players. Well we know they've got at least 6 good keepers.

Isn't that a more strict regime than the 6-5 suggestion? :? You're talking an 8-3 rule are you not? LOL.

Or did you mean 3-8 with at least 3 English players on the field at any one time?

I'm also guessing that this is how they propose a team starts a match. Otherwise it might become a bit ridiculous if an English player goes down injured and has to be replaced by another Englishmen despite if that position isn't his normal possie.

Yes i did mean that a team must have 3 english players in the Starting line up (didnt explain myself very well :? ),as for a player being injured he can be replaced with whoever is on the bench.

Just to finish i must say that i really cant believe that any system will be introduced and things will stay as they are.
