Is there a planned offical meet up for game 1?

I got mate born west ham on the sunshine coast wanting to come along to a meet, not sure when to get him organised to come along.

Actually, I was speaking to Arj on Saturday night, he said that the first won't be televised.

I didn't ask if it was down to Fox Sports being c*nts or pig n whistle management - was a tad drunk at the time.

It wont be the pig it'll be fox - the pig will always show us if possible to accomodate. I was going to say when I read Zanes post that I'm not sure if it is on. West Ham v Wigan ain't exactly a glory fixture is it. They usually show the promoted sides and the big three on the opening day. I'll speak to arj but if he said its not on it probably wont be.

Was browsing Fox Sports News Active last night, and in the Football Section, right down the bottom, it has the premier league fixtures.

Unfortunately, our game with Wigan is not on the first weekend.

So there's your answer. Not too bothered though coz we will be slumming it on a houseboat on the Murray River for a week of fishing and drinking

Norven Munky and I did a similar weekend on the noosa river last month. We caught about 50 Bream and drank about 50 beers each. Had an absolute ball!!!

Edit:jesus just clicked the link - that is one posh boat. Our one was quite nice too but that looks like the ritz on water.

Hope its as god as it looks Dave. It was only put on the River this year. Paul has 4 cartons of beer and 2 bottles of scotch for the week and he's panicking it wont be enough! We are on there with Paul's brother and wife. I reckon the River is where we will eventually retire to on our own houseboat. (hopefully)
