A good signing IMO.
Saw him playing in Euro and he is lively and tough player. A mate of mine is a Lazio fan and sad to see him go.
Can also play on the right side of midfield.
Well done Nani! ( I don't think we would have got his signature if Curbs was trying to do the deal)

From WHO
Would you believe it?
Apparently Behrami was born just yards from the old North Bank terrace where he spent most of his early years supporting the Hammers. His mother ran a jellied eel stall in Green Street and his father knew Bobby Moore.
Then they moved to Switzerland.
Just to add to this, I heard he was neighbours with Tevez when they were growing up in the East End.

Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper Jan Lastuvka is hoping to secure a move to West Ham United.
Lastuvka, who spent a season on loan with Fulham, is eager to return to the Premier League, but admits that negotiations between the two clubs have stalled in recent days.
The 26-year-old believes that the problem has arisen with the two sides unable to agree on a fee for his services.
Alluring
Lastuvka told CTK: "The offer from West Ham is there. The club wants me and going back to the English league is definitely interesting and alluring.
"Unfortunately, the negotiations have become very complicated on certain matters.
"I will not comment on any figures, but in general we were almost agreed with West Ham when the transfer fee increased very much all of a sudden.
"Since Monday the discussions have appeared to me very strange and under those conditions I don't rush into anything."
There is still hope that a deal will be concluded, but Lastuvka admits that the continued stalemate is a concern.
He added: "We have not ended the talks, they still go on, but we cannot delay it much."
Green, Walker & Stech already. I cannot see us getting a 4th keeper!

See Bresciano's name pop up again. Not sure if he is the creative mid we need. However, saw Grella's name pop up to go to Fulham. I think he may be worthwhile as a defensive mid instead of Mullins although neither would be in my first choice side.

Yeah I just saw this. The nasty rumour won't go away. I think we need a good flair player - Bresciano is an average flair player when he feels like it.
Grella can go to Fulham he would be no better than Mullins.

Don't hold back. Tell us exactly how you feel about him.
I think you are being a bit harsh. He wouldn't have lasted this long in SerieA if he couldn't cut it.
I agree he is not the right person for us and no better than Mullins but he is not that bad.

I agree. Besciano is ok but not the midfielder I think we need and I'm happy to see Grella go to Fulham. Fuck me Fulham are in for some players.

Everything about Coloccini that Ive read has him going to Newcastle, and this has been something theyve been working on for a while. Ive never seen anything mentioning Ferdinand. Not to say it aint true though.
They Adriano transfer is another thats been popping up for a while. That would be a nice signing.
Choice of Grella or Bresciano? Grella a million times over. He would be twice the holding mid that Mullins is purported to be. Bresciano....dud.

Here's our creative midfielder people......
Hammers Return For Benayoun?
Liverpool’s Yossi Benayoun is being linked with a return to former club West Ham, according to a report in the Echo.
The Israeli joined Liverpool from West Ham last year in a deal thought to be worth £5 million but has struggled to become a regular at Anfield.
Benayoun managed only 15 Premier League starts and 4 goals in his first season at Anfield which has led to speculation he may be surplus to requirements at the club.
The former West Ham man was a popular figure at Upton Park and a return would certainly be warmly welcomed by the fans who have fond memories of his time in East London.
Benayoun managed 8 goals in 63 appearances for West Ham and helped carry them to an FA Cup final with Liverpool which they eventually lost on penalties. However, the Israeli’s flair and creativity were as important as his goals and ensured he is still highly thought of by the Hammers.
The Echo reports that West Ham have contacted Liverpool to discuss the possibility of a move for Benayoun as they hope to be reunited with their former player.
Rafael Benitez has been widely quoted this week as saying he needs to sell players in order to finance more moves and it is possible Benayoun could potentially be sold as Liverpool look to strength their squad further.
Peter Crouch, John Arne Riise and Harry Kewell have already left Anfield this summer whilst Cavalieri, Degen, Dossena and Robbie Keane have all arrived. Liverpool are also still thought to be chasing Gareth Barry, although any further signings may be impossible until further funds are raised.
Gill Clark
Don't know about you guys, but I think he will do just nicely thank you very much.
