This may be an old sentiment but i said the same thing when Defoe and his CROONIES left us,and i cant forgive someone that shits all over us and then comes back and says that HE LOVED WESTHAM and is so happy to be back (assuming he will say that).
I will watch this rumour with much interest.
Appreciate your passion but if it means that or another flair less season like last I'd have him back in a shot!

I was furious when he left, two faced bastard, but if he came back and got stuck in, I'd let him off. If he goes to another club, my hatred for him will continue.

Now theres something we definately agree on Dave we seriously need a CREATIVE MIDFIELDER and am still hopefull that this will happen. At this stage I can see Dyer filling this role, and not really sure how this would work TBH.

Bloody hell Southy you aint very forgiving!!!
I would love him back. Think we really missed him last season. There is no loyalty in Football these days. (ps, can you do the dishes and stop arguing?)

I have to say that I would not welcome yossi back. Personally I don't think that he was the ducks nuts when he was here the first time and if he did come back I can't see the Upton Park faithful being to welcoming which could be unsettling for Yossi 2.0 and the team in general.

I agree. He obviously doesn't care about West Ham. Just what he can get out of us. Well, I can't see him giving it all for us again then. I want a creative mid but someone who cares about the team.

Looks like I'll have to start a new Football manager 2008 game, and do some scouting, so what should I look for fellas? Someone with the same type attributes as Yossi? Able to speak English, anything else?
BTW Won the Champs League with West ham Premiership twice the year is currently 2016.

Yossi Benayoun's agent has played down talk linking the midfielder with a move away from Liverpool.
Reports have suggested Liverpool may be prepared to sacrifice Benayoun after Rafa Benitez admitted he will have to sell before he can buy again.
Manchester City and Benayoun's former club West Ham have been linked with a move for the Israeli international if Liverpool do decide to offload the player.
However, Benayoun's agent, Ronen Katzav says he has had no contact with any interested clubs and that the player is concentrating on the new season ahead at Liverpool.
Speculation
"There has been no contact or talks with any club about Yossi," Katzav told skysports.com.
"All summer there has been speculation about Yossi, but he has a contract with Liverpool.
"I don't believe Liverpool want to sell Yossi and he is just concentrating on life at Liverpool.
"It is nice that everybody is interested in Yossi, but from our point of view he is only thinking about Liverpool."

So I guess that means that Jimmy Walker is on the way out then.
This means that we have added 4 kids to the youth team, 1 RB / RW to the first team and 1 GK on loan. It doesn't look like we're running riot here with ins and outs or with filling the ACM role that everyone seems to want so desperately.
TBH this doesn't worry me too much as I think that we have a fundamentally strong squad. Based on how we performed last season, plus with all the players that we have back from injury, its like we have added 6 new players to the first team. PLUS apart from the top 4 clubs there hasn't been any major transfers at any of the other clubs that look to us cause much concern, this I believe works in our favour and I'm tipping a top 8 finish to be sure!

The Hammers are trying to sell Matthew Etherington due to his gambling addiction. The reason he played in the MLS showpiece game was to show his fitness to interested parties.
Just what I read.
I wouldn't miss him, fucken lightweight!

Spuds (especially) and Blackburn have been pretty active and Man City are trying hard to get involved.
