Shopping list
West Ham are hoping to lure Stephen Carr away from Newcastle while Derby's Giles Barnes is another potential target along with Everton's Andrew Johnson. They are also eyeing Juventus midfielder Tiago, Marseille's Djibril Cisse and Canada international Atiba Hutchinson, who plays for FC Copenhagen.
Yeps - Barnes, Tiago, Hutchison
Nopes - Carr, Johnson, Cisse

Curbs please sign Tiago, Fred and Mozzola!!!
Fred would be the anwser to our forward problems and Tiago is the kind of midfielder West Ham have badly missed for mumerous seasons!
Please no Bent!

I read somewhere that the Mozzola deal may happen but he is one for the future and won't feature in the first team this season.
As for other transfers, I also read that there won't be any. Apparently Curbs is happy with the squad as is. As he has not yet had the opportunity to pick his first team, due to all the injuries, he wants all the players back to see how they perform. After a run of games with a fully fit squad, he will know where we are and make any decisions accordingly.
Another spin on this is that I heard that BG wants to control the wage bill so he is not releasing any funds for new players.
Sorry lads.

Yeah, I'm getting the strong feeling that nothing will happen but we always leave it pretty late. I agree Dave, I reckon a classy midfielder and a greedy striker and we're pretty close to Europe places. We can't just rely on Bellers to spring straight back and score immediately (although that would be great!)

Not strictly true that really Terry. We're doing well but a couple of big signings could've turned a good season into a great one.

They would probably just have gotten injured. I personally think our squad when fully fit is quality enough to make it to Europe and i think we are probably not yet able to attract big name signings to our club just yet. Maybe next season.
