At home, last game of the season, nothing to play for really, it might go all pear shaped but Boro are gone, players will have their minds on next season so I can't see them lifting for this one.
2-1 to the Cockney boys.

Hang on Boro will be well up for it. There is still a very slim hope of survival if they stick a few past us. Still expect us to win though. They will definately be motivated though.

I, unfortunately for Trev, think we will win and seal their relegation.
League 1 playoff final before this game. Millwall vs Scunthorpe. No rewards for guessing who I want to win.

4-0 West Ham
Downing has already cried off because he is scared to be seen blubbering on the UP turf!
Villa 3-0 Newcastle, Newcastles failure will be Phil Browns saviour at Hull.

Thought we cruised through the game really. Looked like a training run and you'd never know Boro were fighting for their PL survival!
MOTM for me was LBM, again. I suspect he'll be around next season much to the horror of many. He was closely followed by Neil. He was immense at CB.
Think we might have seen the last of DDM and Tristan. No loss there as far as I'm concerned.
Still not sure about Kovac? He's ok I guess but that's about it really.
Cole was straight back into the groove. I've a feeling he's going to be a monster player for us next season.
Also thought Dyer looked quite a handful when he came on. He does get forward well and has a knack of being in the right place at the right time. If he can stay on the pitch he'll be a real asset.
Collison and Junior also get forward and are not afriad to have a crack. The WH treadmill turns out another couple of gems.
Green was rarely threatened and was all over just about everything that came his way. Best English keeper by some distance IMO.
Could've won by more but we did enough. Boro had the worst goal scoring record in all 4 divisions and their defence is pretty average. Recipe for relegation. I don't evny them in the Championship. It's a hard bloody league and not always easy to get out of.
Anyway, great way to finish the season for us.
Bring on August!

You need a defensive mid who doesn't shine but does his job. Kovac could well be that man. He only joined in Jan so give him a bit more time.

That's Parkers job and if we get a creative mid-fielder Kovac won't get a look in. As I said Kocav is ok but he gives the ball away too often and as for time he shouldn't need any really seeing as he's got experience to burn. Anyway, he's on loan so we'll see what Spartik Moscow want for him and if the price is right he can warm the bench while Parker does the job as the holding mid-fielder.
